With the ominous clouds looming over the glistening lake, it's hard to ignore the brewing tension between light and dark.
It is a breathtaking image. For a scene captured in its natural element the focus, colours and angling of the shot show brilliant quality.
The oranges and blacks compliment each other, giving the viewer connotations of foreboding or serene comfort, depending on the outlook.
It must have felt like a victory of sorts to capture this image (along with the rest of the collection, which I intend to check out as soon as I can!) because it does hold a certain charm about it.
